Dentures

Most people, when they say dentures, mean the full set of teeth. When all the teeth are missing, the full denture rests on the remaining gum tissue and relies on the development of a slight suction to stay in place. The longer the teeth have been gone, the less bone and gum there is to support the dentures. If the dentures get too loose, implants can be placed to help hold the dentures in place.

If one section of teeth is missing, a partial denture can be used to replace the missing teeth. This removable type of denture holds on to the remaining teeth to stay in place. Since this puts more stress on the remaining teeth, the design is important. Implants can also be used to replace a section of teeth without putting stress on any other teeth.

Our dental lab uses state of the art "injection technology" for making dentures.
